Carbon 2o2 is reviewing many new co2 sequestration technologies one of which is StimStixx, a Canadian company with a proven methodology of carbon sequestration.

StimStixx at a glance

Oil and gas operators have safely and successfully used acid to improve productivity of oil and gas wells for nearly 120 years but has not advanced until now

StimStixx Technologies well stimulation does not require flowback fluid disposal. The tools can be flown to site or driven in the back of a pickup truck unloaded by hand and carry no risk of spill.

Delivered to location in a solid inert non-reactive state

Deployed by Electric Wireline , e-coil and now slickline.

Slow burn treatment taking between 15 to 20 minutes

Hot acid vapor (300° – 465°F) is generated immediately across zone of interest

Provides for rigless execution

Requires a minimum hydrostatic head above the tool.

StimStixx vs Conventional
Matrix Acidizing

Reduced downtime Simple implementation Increased Precision Fast-Acting
Lower manpower, rig and equipment costs Reduced corrosion and wear on machinery No surface spillage or exposure to hazardous material Reduces the carbon footprint up 93%
